Created for and by immigrant and refugee youth

We partnered with IDEO.org, a non-profit design firm, to co-create health communication materials alongside youth from refugee, immigrant, and migrant (RIM) communities. The result is a set of social media assets that community-based organizations and individuals can use to help de-escalate the often polarized conversations that are taking place around the COVID-19 vaccine among young people in refugee, immigrant and migrant communities.

These tools are especially designed to take into account the unique needs and concerns of young people belonging to RIM communities in the US. We spent time speaking with young people ages 18-25 to listen and build understanding around their perspectives. Then, we worked alongside youth from RIM communities to create and test all materials.
